You will start the program by understanding how one can identify and develop a clear and coherent startup idea. Through market analysis and solving a case study on market sizing you will understand the viability of an idea in a given market. You will also understand how to competitively differentiate yourself in the market.

To start off with an idea, you would need to pick a business model best suited for your idea. Here, you will get a clear understanding of the various business models and their suitability in different cases. You can also refine your existing business plan from these learnings to go in the right direction with your startup. Through a live case study, you will understand how to apply concepts by creating a thorough business plan canvas for your startup.

You will understand the key Factors on which success of a startup depends. Through multiple examples you will understand which factors are applicable to which startups. You will also understand how to quantitatively measure your performance for these factors by identifying right Key Performance Indicators or KPIs.

Duration : 1 week

One of the key aspects for any startup is the product or service that is being delivered to its customers. In this module, you will understand how to build products with enriching user experience using principles of MVP and Design Thinking. You will also get first hand understanding of building and improving products through a design thinking case study.

Understand the entire process when it comes to officially registering a Startup venture in a step by step manner including detailed analysis of various documentation requirements.

To make your product/service reach a larger customer base, you need the right marketing strategy. Here, you will understand how to develop a clear and appropriate marketing message by developing a brand temple. You will also understand customer segmentation and how to use the right marketing channel to efficiently reach out to your customers.

In today’s digital age, with large sections of society present on digital platforms, it is crucial to have an understanding of digital marketing jargon. Not only that, this module will provide you a clear understanding of the nuances of reaching out customers on various digital channels and increasing your visibility in a cost-effective manner.

For most entrepreneurs, a major challenge is finding the right co-founder and the right founding team. This is extremely important in setting up the foundation for your startup and defining its organisational structure. This module will help you identify the right characteristics that you should look for, when getting people onboard your venture. You will also understand how to develop the right culture within your organisation such that everyone is aligned towards the right vision.

How should an entrepreneur go about registering a startup? Is the location for registration important? How should one understand taxation, permits, compliances etc.? What are ESOPs and how should they be given to potential early employees? These questions, and many more, will be answered by legal experts in this module.

Not many entrepreneurs have a background in finance, therefore this is one of the key areas wherein entrepreneurs face difficulties. In this module, you will get a clear understanding of finance and accounting that will include developing and maintaining financial statements, doing break-even analysis and understanding capital structure and taxation.

Developing a structured and coherent business plan is crucial for any entrepreneur. Not only does it provide you with clarity on different aspects of your business, it also gives you clear targets on how to achieve your vision. Here, you will understand the various components of a business plan and through multiple examples, you will understand how to develop a business plan for your Startup.

Duration : 1 week

Get clear understanding from some of the top investors in the country on the fundraising process for startups. Understand how companies are valued and how an entrepreneur should think of equity dilution when approaching investors for funds.

Duration : 1 week

Understand from top investors, the key ingredients of a great investor pitch and develop one for your own startup. Also get clarity on various components of a termsheet that is an important document during the fundraising process. This will instill great confidence when you approach investors for funding.

Duration : 1 week

Understand how to establish and scale social enterprises. Learn about the different forms of registering a social enterprise and also get clarity on running a social enterprise in a sustainable manner for the long run.
