AIIMS Paramedical Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Below are the AIIMS Paramedical eligibility criteria you must keep in mind if you want to apply for the programs. A candidate is deemed to be eligible if he/she:

• Is an Indian Citizen.
• Has attained the age of 17 by 31st December of the year of admission. 
• Has passed the 12th class examination under the 10+2 scheme or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or the University of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Mathematics) as main subjects. 
• Has a minimum aggregate percentage in the qualifying examination.

It is to be noted that the minimum accepted marks are usually around 55% for General/ OBC (NCL)/EWS and 45% for the SC/ ST categories. The required subjects may differ per the chosen course. Aspirants are advised to check the specific eligibility criteria for their preferred AIIMS center and AIIMS Paramedical program. 

AIIMS Paramedical 2024: Important Dates & Application Process 

Below are the important dates to look out for while preparing for the AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Exam 2024. It is to be noted that these dates are tentative, and the aspirants must keep checking the official website for the final dates.

You must have the following documents prepared before starting the application process:

• A valid ID proof (driver's license, Aadhar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or original admit card issued for your 12th board exam (should be within the past two years).
• Scanned copies of your passport-size photo, signature, and thumb impression.
• Educational documents (10th and 12th certificate and mark sheet).

AIIMS Paramedical application form consists of basic registration and final registration. You can use the following steps to get started with the application process:

Step 1: Basic Registration

• Visit the official website.
• Click on ‘Proceed to Basic Registration Form.’
• Now select ‘New Basic Registration.’
• Detailed instructions will be displayed on the screen; carefully read the instructions and click ‘Proceed.’
• Enter all the necessary details and click on the declaration checkbox to acknowledge that all the furnished details are true to your knowledge.
• Then click ‘Generate Registration ID and Password’. You will receive a registration ID and password on the email ID and mobile number you used for registration.

Step 2: Login and Upload Images

•  Once you have received the registration ID and password, use those details to log in to the application portal.
• Upon logging in, a pre-filled form will appear; recheck the details, and if there are any corrections, click 'Edit'; else, click the Proceed button.
• Enter the ID card details available with you: Driver's license, Aadhar Card, PAN card, Passport, Voters ID, or original admit card issued for your 12th Board exam (should be within the past two years)
• Next, upload the scanned photograph, thumb impression, and signature. 
• Once the images have been uploaded, you can submit the form to complete the basic registration.

Step 3: Check if Basic Registration is Accepted/ Rejected

• Once you have completed the basic registration, officials verify the details and accept/reject the basic registration. You can edit and resubmit the basic registration before the deadline if there are discrepancies.
• Login to the registration portal and check the status of the application.
• In case of a rejected application, you can edit the form, correct the details, and submit it again for evaluation.

Step 4: Generate Registration Unique Code (RUC) After Basic Registration is Accepted

• After the status of your basic registration is changed to ‘Accepted,’ you can log in to the application portal.
• Click the ‘Generate Registration Unique Code’ button to generate the RUC.
• You will then get the option to select the course preference. 
• Choose your preferred course from the drop-down menu. Verify and click on the ‘Generate’ button.
• A system-generated RUC code will appear on the screen. This code is necessary for future logins. 

Step 5: Final Registration

• You can access the application portal using the registration ID, password, and RUC. 
• The pre-filled application form will be displayed.
• You will be asked to enter the academic details, preferred examination center, and medium of examination.
• Once you have filled in all the details, you can pay the application fee for the examination.
