Entry Requirements 

The admission requirements depend  on the educational institution. Additionally, each profile is considered individually to grant admission into BSc nursing in the UK to international students. 

In general, there are no precise subject requirements for entering into an undergraduate nursing studies course. However, to gain an in-depth understanding of nursing support, students should know basic biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology to gain an in-depth understanding of nursing support. 

On top of this, the students must fulfill the following entry requirements for BSc nursing in the UK: 

  • Award of certificate in 10+2 level with five subjects and an average of 80% and 75% in English
  • English proficiency test scores comprising IELTS score of 7.5 overall
  • AA levels or qualification of level 3 
  • Relevant work experience certification, if taking admission after a significant period of employment

Students can also get enrolled in BSc nursing in the UK without IELTS as the universities also accept scores from other language tests. The score mandates for each of these tests are as follows:

  • PTE of 69 Overall
  • 30 points for IB 
  • TOEFL of 100 Overall

  • HE Diploma with 45 credits

Admission Process

  3. Create a student account on the UCAS website by entering your details 
  4. Fill in your academic qualifications in the university form 
  5. Pay the application fee through a credit or debit card 

To apply, the reference contact in the application has to add the student's reference. In its absence, the portal doesn't accept applications. The candidate can submit the form with the fee payment only after the finalization of the reference. 

However, some universities can permit a student to go ahead with the application without references.
