As of fall 2021, the university student body strength stands at 1381 enrollments. The Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET has approved the biomedical, computer, mechanical, and electrical engineering degree programmes at Indiana Tech. Additionally, Indiana Tech is recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIME), and International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).

The campus hosts over 150 entertaining Student Life events annually, several clubs and organizations to join, and an active intramural programme to participate in. Highlighted Courses of the University are Business administration and management; Computer and information systems security/information assurance; Bioengineering and biomedical engineering; and Mechanical engineering; Criminal justice/safety studies. Moreover, Indiana Tech, has five business schools and centers that include a variety of programmes in majors and minors as well as doctorate programs.

With a 65% acceptance rate, Indiana Tech has a selective admissions process, which is indicative of a moderately selective admissions policy. A score of 18 to 23 on the ACT or a SAT between 892 to 1150 is required for admission to Indiana Tech, according to US NEWS. And a similar attitude is anticipated of new applicants to the university.

- All UG Aspirants need a High school degree with passing grades to be eligible.
- The test score requirements are to be met as mentioned below.
- International students are required to provide International English Assessment test scores.
- For UG courses, the college requires standardized exam results and a GPA of 2.5-2.9 on a 4.0 scale which is about (70-80%) in order to be admitted.
- The online admission form needs to be filled out along with the application fees.
Post Graduate Eligibility criteria
- A bachelor's degree is required that is recognized by the Institution.
- Work Experience may also be required for certain courses.
- Standardized exam scores and a GPA of 2.5-2.9 on a 4.0 scale, or about (70-80%), are required by the college in order to be admitted to PG courses.
- Along with the application fee, the online admission form must be completed.
- Test scores are to be met by applicants as mentioned below.
