The Main Campus of Marymount University is situated in Arlington, Virginia, on 21 acres (85,000 m2). The campus has six residence halls, including Rose Benté Lee Ostapenko Hall, Butler Hall, Rowley Hall, Berg Hall, St. Joseph's Hall, and Gerard Phelan Hall; three academic buildings, Caruthers Hall, Rowley Academic Centre, and Gailhac Hall; computer labs at St. Joseph's Hall; the Rose Benté Lee Centre, which has two gyms, Bernie's Cafe, mail facilities, recreational and meeting spaces; the Gerard Phelan Cafeteria, along with an auditorium and Emerson G. Reinsch Library. Another significant feature is the synthetic turf practice field.

To apply to Marymount University, applicants are required to submit a non-refundable admission fee of $50. Students may apply to Marymount University continuously. Applications will be examined as they are finished. There is no application deadline, although students are advised to submit their applications and supporting materials early. 

After Marymount receives a full application and all needed application materials, applicants are given an admissions decision on a rolling basis, usually four to six weeks later. 

Students who are now enrolled or have previously enrolled at a school outside the United States might be regarded as international applicants and be subject to additional international admissions standards regardless of citizenship or immigration status. This means international applicants are required to submit English Proficiency Test scores to the University and must appear for one of the following and achieve the minimum score requirements:

• TOEFL
• PTE
• Duolingo English Test

• Applicants must submit a completed application using the Marymount Application or the Common App.
• Official transcripts from any institution applicants have already attended. Applicants need to include authentic results and completion certificates from national secondary school exams such as the GCSE/GCE and WAEC, if necessary. For any transcripts that are not already in English, certified translations into English must be provided.
• English Language Proficiency proof
• If an applicant has any gaps in enrolment, a resume or CV
• Official SAT/ACT scores are recommended but not required.
• Recommendation letter(s) (optional)
• Personal statement, optional yet strongly advised

Exam Requirements for Marymount University

If the applicant's first language is not English, Marymount University will need proof of their English language proficiency before they can consider them for admission. An examination or waiver could be used to prove one's English proficiency.

To be accepted, official test results must be sent straight from the testing facility. A score cannot be older than two years.
