Common Errors in Excel - Excel Basics

As a data analyst, work in Excel will take up a fair amount of time in your daily work. While working in Excel, we're bound to face some errors. What is important is to understand the root cause of the error and the mechanism to rectify the error. 

In the subsequent videos, we will learn about the most common errors in Excel and the ways to rectify the same.

In the next video, we will look at some other error rectification techniques.  

Often, in a large Excel Sheet, errors can occur due to incorrect referencing, changes in the referenced cell, etc.

To summarise, the Formulas Tab of the Ribbon has the following options which help find/rectify errors:

• Evaluate Formula: It allows to debug a complex formula by evaluating every individual part of a formula.
• Error Checking: To find the errors in formulae's
• Show Formulas: Display's all the formulas in each cell instead of the resulting value
