Creating a Dashboard for Lifetime Value in Tableau Story

In this segment, Favio will create some plots to understand only the total charges paid by the customers. The only difference from the earlier plots is that we are not taking tenure and monthly charges into consideration here. This leaves us with a simpler plot, which is much easier to understand when presented to the senior management.

Later in this segment, we will create a dashboard where we will be adding all the plots created so far.

In the forthcoming video, Favio will create the plots for the total charges with respect to the different variables that we have seen so far. Let us go ahead and watch the video.

So, with this, we have completed creating different plots and dashboards for our case study. In the next segment, Favio will be creating a Tableau story using all the visualizations created so far. 

So let us quickly recall the key insights from plots generated in this video.

1. People on 2- and 1-year contracts have higher LTVs than those on month-to-month contracts.
2. People using the phone service, multiple lines, and internet services in general have higher LTVs and, thus, make greater contributions to the business of the company.
