Understanding the Customer Services in Tableau Story - Part 2

In this segment, Favio will continue the analysis on the different services provided by the company. If you recall, based on our analysis on Python, we found that customers were more likely to be in the higher LTV category if they had subscribed to the streaming TV and streaming movies services. So, in this segment, Favio will create some visualizations to understand the streaming TV and streaming movies services. Later in this segment, Favio will create a dashboard containing all the plots that we have created so far, before moving on to our next visualizations.

So, in the video, Favio created a dashboard, where we put all the visualizations that we have created so far in this session. In the next segment, he will create some visualization to understand the contract and the payment patterns of the customers.

For both streaming TV and streaming movies, we can draw these conclusions:

  1. Lifetime value: Customers subscribed to the streaming services are contributing more to LTV; this means we want to encourage people to use these services.
  2. Contract and churn: If we look at the monthly charges, then it appears as though many people who left the company were paying higher monthly charges.

So, now that we have created several visualizations for the different customer services, our next step is to create a small dashboard from the visualizations that we have created so far. Let us go ahead and watch the forthcoming video.
