Adaptability quotient refers to the willingness to adjust and try out new things as per the changing scenarios and communicate accordingly. It is a vast topic and in order to become adaptable, one has to constantly learn and change as per the requirements of the dynamic world today. Adaptability quotient helps you to move out of your comfort zone.
In order to adapt to a new situation or to a different point of view of your team member, you should listen to that person’s point of view and let them take charge. Also, you should have a willingness to listen to their opinions first and then ask relevant questions. You need to show empathy and compassion in the entire adaptability process.
Adaptability is about changing yourself and your thought process depending on the situation, and this change will have a positive impact on people around you.
