In the video above, you learnt about important meeting etiquette, which are as follows:

1. Your handshake should be firm and confident; do not prolong the handshake.
2. Always reconfirm the appointment and ensure that you arrive on time. 
3. Introduce yourself by your name, without using any title such as Mr., Ms. and Mrs. 
4. You must always carry your business card and share it with the other person.
5. If you have any colleagues with you, introduce them using appropriate titles such as Mr., Ms. and Mrs., and mention something about their occupation or designation.
6. If you are entering the meeting room first, it is polite for you to hold the door open for others. 
7. Before starting any meeting, remember to put your phone in the silent mode and keep it away. 
8. Avoid constantly checking your phone while the other person is talking.
9. Seek permission to gather personal and financial information from the customers and ensure that such information remains confidential. 

You should keep in mind that all clients are not comfortable with handshakes due to cultural, religious or social reasons. Therefore, you should be mindful of this when you meet the customer and greet them with a namaste or any other greeting that is locally acceptable.
