In this module, you will be using draw.io to draw UML diagrams. You can use draw.io online or offline.
It is recommended to use the online version, as for the online version, you don’t have to download or install it. Also, you don't have to update it every time an update is launched. You will be using the updated version every time.
1. Go to https://www.draw.io/. You will see the following screen:
2. If you want to create a new diagram, click on the 'Create New Diagram' button. If you already have a diagram with you, you can click the 'Open Existing Diagram' button.
3. If you click on the 'Create New Diagram' button, you will see the following screen:
4. Here, you have to select 'Blank Diagram'. You can also provide a name for the diagram. Once you do that, click on the 'Create' button. You will see the following screen:
5. You will see the name of the diagram in the top-left corner. On the left side, you will see a toolbox. Use this toolbox to draw different UML diagrams later in the module.

1. Go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/drawio-desktop/pebppomjfocnoigkeepgbmcifnnlndla. You will see the following screen:
2. Click on the 'Add to Chrome' button. You will see the following dialogue box:
3. Click on the 'Add app' button, and the app will start downloading.
4. Once the app is downloaded, you will see the following screen:
5. If you don't see this screen, you can open it by clicking on the 'Apps' button below the back button.
6. You can also open the Apps page by typing 'chrome://apps/' in the URL bar and then press Enter.
7. Once you click on the draw.io icon on the Apps page, a new window will pop up. This window will be the same as the screen you saw in the first step of 'How to use draw.io online'.
