Variables & Datatypes in Java I - Overview

Welcome to the module on Variables and Data Types. In this module, you will learn how to compile and run your program on the command line. Also, you will be introduced to the concept of variables in programming and the various data types that exist in Java.

 

Pre-requisites:

This module is designed for beginners with absolutely no experience in Java.

If you have worked with Java before, you may find the sessions easy. Nonetheless, you are recommended to go through the segments and write programs to revise your concepts and make sure you don’t miss out on anything important.
