In this segment, you will learn how to use some key metrics to measure an email campaign.
As Madhura explained, some key metrics that email marketers use to measure their campaigns are as follows:
● Number of subscribers:
The number of subscribers in your email marketing list
● Emails sent:
The total number of emails sent to the subscribers
● Emails delivered:
The total number of emails delivered to subscribers’ inbox
● Emails opened:
The total number of emails opened by subscribers
● Unique clicks:
The number of times a link in the email was clicked on by unique users. The clicks may lead to a landing page that may ask users to perform a certain action.
● Actions
Number of subscribers who performed the action mentioned in the email, i.e., followed the CTA. Actions may be of different types depending on the email and the campaign. An action could also include downloading a document, making a phone call to a phone number mentioned in the email, etc.
● Leads
The total number of leads generated through the campaign.
